San Francisco's Proposition 55
NPH Yes on Proposition 55 flyers are available in English and Spanish. These materials helped spread the word on how our affordable homes and communities are made stronger by quality public schools. Prop 55 protects our students and public schools from returning to the days of massive budget cuts, educator layoffs, larger classes and tuition hikes!
Santa Clara County’s Measure A, the Homelessness and Housing Bond, invests in our most vulnerable communities to end homelessness and help everyone have a roof over their head. It’s a game changing $950 million investment in permanent supportive housing, homes for very low-income seniors, veterans, families and people with disabilities, as a well as working families and first-time homebuyers.
San Mateo County’s Measure K was supported by County leadership, housing advocates, business leaders and community organizations to increase investment in affordable homes and quality services. With voter approval of the 20-year extension of the half-cent sales tax, millions per year are now generated for affordable homes.
Alameda County’s Measure A1, the $580 million Affordable Housing Bond, will fund development of new rental opportunities, first-time and second-chance homeownership, and an Innovation Fund to allow pre-qualification for funding and rapid response that protects existing affordability.
